Build for people.
Not egos. Not exits.
Editorial — NYC
Editorial·Remote·ContractNYC politics junkie.
You live and breathe NYC politics — you know the difference between a State Senate race in Bay Ridge and an Assembly race in Astoria, and you've got opinions on both. You'll write the editorial voice of Voice: short takes on breaking moments, politician profiles, and the framing that turns a city council vote into something readers actually care about. Bonus if you've freelanced for NYC politics outlets.
GTM Engineer / Growth Marketer
Marketing·Remote·ContractHalf marketer, half vibe coder.
You'll build Voice's consumer growth end-to-end — paid acquisition, SEO, lifecycle email/push, social listening, and the scrappy automations that make it all work (think Playwright scripts, no-code stacks, and whatever else gets the job done). You've shipped growth experiments at a consumer app before and can prove what worked. Comfort with vibe coding is essential.
Product Designer / Front-End Engineer
Design·Remote·ContractNo handoff step.
You'll design and ship Voice's consumer UI in the same motion: mobile interactions, sentiment visuals, civic content surfaces, and the little bits of motion that make politics feel less like homework. You're fluent in Figma-to-code workflows for web apps and iOS, but you're just as happy designing directly in code with Claude, Codex, or whatever gets the thing live. Design conviction required.
Data Scientist
Data Science·Remote·ContractBayesian only.
You'll sharpen the statistical methodology behind Voice's signal strength framework — refining how we weight, segment, and communicate sentiment data from our engaged voter base so it holds up to scrutiny from journalists, campaigns, and prediction traders. Experience with sample weighting, MRP, or prediction market methodology is a major plus.
Media Relations
Communications·Remote·ContractFriend to every politics desk.
You'll get Voice data into stories at the Times, Politico, Hell Gate, and the local TV desks — pitching reporters on real-time sentiment shifts, briefing them on methodology, and turning our barometer into recurring coverage. NYC press relationships required; you should already have a Rolodex, not be building one.
